About the training

This time, we're meeting online. During the training, participants will learn about the specific requirements for auditing compliance with the EN 1090 standard, which must be met in order to proceed with the certification process. During the training, you'll learn what you need to do to ensure your products are CE-labeled.

Training duration: 1 day / 8 hours

Training objective

The aim of the training is to provide participants with knowledge of the requirements of the EN 1090 standard. During the training, you will learn what you need to do to ensure your products are CE labeled.

Training recipients

The training is aimed at:

  • Owners of companies in the steel and aluminum construction industry
  • Future factory representatives of the Factory Production Control system (i.e. the Factory Production Control system)
  • Welders and welding engineers
  • Manufacturers of steel structures
  • People involved in the distribution of steel structures
  • Subcontractors who provide services in the steel construction market
  • People involved in implementing EN 1090 in the company
  • Proxies
  • People who would like to implement the EN 1090 system in their company, but are not sure whether they are subject to this standard
Course of training

Requirements for manufacturers of steel and aluminum structures:

  • Requirements for manufacturers resulting from Regulation (EC) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Directive 89/106/EEC (CPR)
  • Assessment and verification of constancy of performance
  • CE marking and declaration of performance and the EN 1090 standard

EN 1090-1 and EN 1090-2 - standard requirements:

  • Requirements for steel structural products
  • Conformity assessment of steel structural elements – requirements
  • Quality requirements for welding metallic materials - EN ISO 3834 and EN 1090 series standards
  • Linking EN 1090 to ISO 9001

EN 1090 - Requirements for Factory Production Control:

  • Requirements for Factory Production Control according to EN 1090-1
  • Assessment of Factory Production Control
  • Principles of preparing FPC documentation
  • Sources of information on FPC (management review, assessment of compliance with legal requirements, internal audits, product/process monitoring)
  • The Factory Production Control audit process, including the requirements of Quality Austria - Polska Sp. z o. o. during certification
  • Corrective and preventive actions in the ZKP system
