Products and services of exceptional quality, independently and regularly inspected, have been awarded this Quality Seal. For over 70 years, products bearing the Austria Quality Seal have assured customers that they are purchasing the best products in their field.
A special feature for the end user is the focus on the quality of the results. While many other certificates and seals concern the production process (process quality) and the underlying system, the Austria Quality Seal represents the quality of the final product or service.
To meet the high expectations of our customers, products and services bearing the Austria Quality Seal are subject to a control and review system that is constantly updated and adapted to the latest scientific and technological knowledge.
With the award, Quality Mark users receive a certificate confirming the exceptional quality of their products and services. For organizations in all sectors and sizes—from industry and retail to trade and services—the Quality Mark opens the door to a global quality community.

Austria Quality Seal Products
The Austria Quality Seal is a hallmark and, thanks to continuous quality monitoring, a guarantee of local quality and products of Austrian origin.
For products that are not entirely manufactured in Austria, the Austrian share of the cost value of the final product (including the costs of raw materials, semi-finished products, accessories, know-how, etc.) must be at least 50 percent.
For food products, the Austrian Quality Seal will be awarded if all processing steps take place in Austria and if the agricultural raw materials that determine the product's value are of Austrian origin. For processed food products, a tolerance of up to one third is generally permitted for raw materials that cannot be produced in Austria.
Austrian Model Company
(„Österreichischer Musterbetrieb”)
Since 1992, the Austrian Quality Seal for the Austrian Model Company with its own testing criteria has been used to identify exceptional production facilities.
The Austria Quality Seal for Austrian Model Companies is awarded to all types of businesses: medical practices, restaurants, retail or commercial businesses, as well as home care organizations, which can become part of the quality community by acquiring this seal.
In addition to other models of continuous improvement in corporate quality (such as ISO certification and business excellence models), organizations bearing this seal demonstrate a competitive advantage by delivering extraordinary results.
Austrian Model Company
(„Österreichischer Musterbetrieb”) –
Floor layer companies
Such companies have the opportunity to document the quality of their services to their clients based on Quality Guidelines for Floor Layer Companies z Austria Quality Seal for the Austrian Model Company. By receiving such a recognizable and well-known seal of quality, the company has the opportunity to strengthen its market position and communicate the high quality of its services to third parties.
The main points of the quality guidelines are the organizational structure, personnel, quality assurance, and environmental friendliness of the company. By submitting the OQA certificate to the Federal and State Guilds, you can benefit from (temporary) support.
Domestic companies producing products of any origin, as well as companies with production facilities abroad, can apply for the International Quality Mark for their products.
The General Terms and Conditions (formerly "Terms and Conditions") of the Austrian Workers' Competence Association (OQA) and the existing quality guidelines also apply to all products manufactured abroad competing for the International Quality Label. This ensures that the Quality Label is awarded to products manufactured both in Austria and abroad in accordance with the same guidelines.
Accredited Austrian inspection bodies carry out tests and confirm that product manufactured abroad complies with Austrian quality guidelines (laws, regulations, etc.).
