About the training
This training course is a comprehensive programme comprising seven modules that combine theory with practice, focusing on developing key competencies relating to digital and green transformation in public administration and the public services sector.
Each module focuses on imparting theoretical knowledge with reference to the realities and challenges of the modern labour market and the requirements of regional strategies, such as the Silesian Voivodeship Regional Innovation Strategy 2030 (RSI) and the Silesian Voivodeship Technology Development Programme (PRT).
Training duration: 1 day / 8 hours
Document confirming: Certificate in Cybersecurity from the perspective of the green transition in public administration and the public services sector
Training objective
The aim of the training is to develop participants’ skills in the areas of digital and green competences, data protection management in support of sustainable development, and combating disinformation in the fields of ecology and climate change. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and implement innovative digital tools in green technologies, respond to incidents and attempts at digital sabotage, and foster a culture of innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling them to actively support the safe implementation of green innovations in their role as digital and environmental public guardians.
Learning outcomes and criteria for assessing their achievement:
Understanding key concepts relating to the green economy and digital transformation: The participant defines key terms such as cybersecurity, the green economy and digital infrastructure, and explains the role of a public official in data protection.
Awareness of transformational challenges in the region and globally: The participant identifies the main challenges associated with the green and digital transitions, such as Smart Cities, smart energy grids and digital waste management systems, and their impact on regional economies and businesses.
Understanding cyber threats in innovation processes within the field of sustainable development: The participant lists and describes types of cyber threats, such as malware, ransomware, phishing and spear phishing, types of attacks on critical infrastructure, and the specific nature of threats to IoT devices.
Applying safety principles in the context of digital environmental systems: The participant selects the appropriate tools to solve a specific organisational problem, taking into account the aspect of green management.
Identifying and responding to cyber incidents within an environmental management system: The participant gives examples of cyber attacks, attempts at sabotage and the disclosure of sensitive data, and describes the procedure for responding to incidents relating to green infrastructure.
Analysis and adaptation of digital transformation strategies in public administration: The participant outlines ways of implementing digitalisation strategies with a view to optimising green processes and improving environmental performance.
Building a culture of innovation within a team: The participant formulates key principles for collaboration within a team comprising IT specialists, environmentalists and civil servants, with a view to achieving environmental and digital objectives.
Training recipients
The training is aimed at senior management, managers and office staff in public administration, the public services sector and central government, and in particular at adults involved in projects under Measures 10.17 and 6.06 in the Silesian Voivodeship.
