About the training
VDA 6.3 is a guideline for conducting effective process audits, which are required by a large number of OEM customers in the German automotive supply chain. It focuses on process audits from product development to mass production.

Training objective
This course is designed to introduce you to the process approach to auditing. It will provide you with an understanding of process auditing and guidance on its application. You will learn about audit requirements and concepts, and gain a thorough understanding of using the VDA 6.3 questionnaire.
This is a two-day (16-hour) practice-oriented training during which:
you will gain comprehensive knowledge of the work methodology of an internal auditor and a second-party auditor (conducting supplier audits), taking into account the requirements of the German Automotive Industry (VDA)
you will learn the requirements contained in the VDA 6.3 manual and how to interpret them
you will gain knowledge about the product life cycle in accordance with VDA
you will learn about risk analysis in the automotive industry
you will learn what competencies and qualifications are required for auditors
you will understand what the process approach to auditing is
you will learn how to plan an audit of new suppliers, locations or technologies using VDA 6.3
you will practice using the VDA 6.3 questionnaire
you will gain practical skills in preparing and conducting a process audit according to VDA 6.3
you will learn how to prepare factual and complete reports after a process audit according to VDA 6.3
you will learn how to wisely initiate and/or evaluate actions taken by the company/supplier aimed at its improvement based on the conclusions drawn from the conducted audits
you will confirm your acquired knowledge and competences by obtaining the certificate of "Internal Process Auditor according to VDA 6.3"„
