About the training

During the training, participants will learn about the concept of food safety culture and its significance within a food industry organisation. In addition, they will learn, amongst other things:

  • how to develop and implement a food safety culture within the organisation;
  • what is the role of senior management;
  • how to improve communication in the context of food safety culture;
  • how to improve one’s own professional conduct within an organisation;
  • what benefits a well-implemented food safety culture brings.

During the training, participants will learn about methods for measuring and assessing the level of food safety culture within an organisation. These methods will be presented not only from a theoretical perspective, but also – and importantly – from a practical one.
A practical approach to the issue should ensure a thorough understanding of the subject, which will enable the implementation, assessment and maintenance of a high standard of food safety culture.
The much-discussed topic of food safety culture will also relate to the requirements of food safety management systems, namely FSSC 22000, IFS Food and BRC Food.

The aim of the training is to present the concept of food safety culture, together with the practical aspects of its implementation, assessment and improvement.
